St. Boniface Church photograph album [1900-1907].

The leather bound album contains 53 silver gelatin prints depicting early 20th century St. Boniface Church buildings, clergy and activities. The images document the laying of the cornerstone in 1900 for the new church building that opened in 1902 located at 133 Golden Gate Avenue. The photographs include views of the destruction of the building from the 1906 Earthquake and Fire. The activities depicted include the St. Boniface parishioners attending mass at St. Joseph's Hospital Chapel in 1906 and the dedication of the Father Junipero Serra statue in Golden Gate Park. The album includes photographs by Charles Weidner and Turrill & Miller. Two portrait prints are signed by Heinrich Dombrink as the designer.
